Booking Deposit: A booking deposit may be required to secure your lesson. If a booking deposit is required and no deposit is received, your booking time and date may, at our discretion, be cancelled.
Cancellation with Less Than 48 Hours' Notice: If a client cancels a scheduled lesson with less than 48 hours' notice, where a studio reservation has been made on their behalf, the client may forfeit their deposit.
Deposit Forfeiture: The deposit amount will not be refunded or credited towards future lessons in the event of cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice, except under exceptional circumstances (see Exceptions below).
Exceptions: We understand emergencies and extenuating circumstances may arise. In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
Studio Reservation: Our studio reservations are made in advance to accommodate our clients' schedules. Cancelling with short notice impacts our ability to utilise the studio efficiently.
Rescheduling: Clients are encouraged to reschedule lessons whenever possible to avoid forfeiting their deposit. We will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.
Note: Rescheduling to avoid deposit forfeiture is only available to our Melbourne clients. Sydney clients will forfeit their deposit if cancelling with less than 48 hours' notice, regardless of rescheduling.
No-Show Policy: If a client does not turn up for their scheduled lesson, they will lose their deposit. For clients who have not made a deposit, a fee of 30% of the overall booking cost will be charged.
Booking Changes: To change a booking, we require at least 48 hours’ notice. Failure to provide this notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Payment Terms: All invoices must be paid within 14 days of receiving the invoice.
Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your booking, we require 72 hours' notice. If cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice, your deposit may be forfeited.
Music Editing Fee: If you choose to use our services, including music editing, and then change your mind, you will incur a music editing fee, which is 20% of your total package fee.
Late Arrival: If you arrive late to your session, please notify us in advance. Time lost may not be recoverable due to back-to-back lessons scheduled after yours.
Social Media: You are required to tag @loveinmotionco in any social media posts showcasing your first dance on platforms where we have an account (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). This ensures recognition of the effort and dedication we both put into creating your special moment.
